Seems like yesterday

My abuse happened for most of my middle and high school years. I was told by so many that it was my fault. There are many days where I feel like it was just yesterday when it was more than 20 yrs ago. It is always helpful to me to remind myself who I am today is not defined by what happened to me but rather who I have decided to be.
